For me, the best "old school" prog-metal bands of the last five years (must have at least three cds) are Haken, Teramaze and Kingcrow. I know others will mention Leprous, but I am not particularly fond of their music.
What say you?
My second tier is composed of former first tier bands: Redemption, Dream Theater, Symphony X and Vanden Plas.

Devin Townsend's on a roll lately. Tesseract, Haken, Headspace... Vanden Plas and Sonata Arctica still have quality output. There are a few good newer bands who escape me right now... I'll post them when I recall.

Yeah, scout, Devin stands apart as the clear top band. Myrath is another that I simply adore.
Bucky I agree with you on Haken, and Leprous. Leprous is very hit or miss for me. Their best is as good as any out there, and their worst is Coal which just didn't hit for me.
Others I'd consider: Vanden Plas, Ayreon*, Scale the Summit, and Headspace.
*pending more listens to The Source
